Our Garden

I am so excited we planted our garden this weekend!! You really take for granted all the food storage and bottling your mom does until you live so far away from home that you can't just run and 'borrow' hers :) I miss having bottled to tomatoes to cook with and having fresh cucumbers and vinegar! I love living in Arizona for that reason, we just planted our garden and it is just the middle of September! We planted 21 Tomato plants, 4 Jalapeno plants, 6 Yellow bell pepper plants, 6 Anaheim pepper plants, Cilantro, 12 Cucumber seeds, 1 Spaghetti squash, and Lettuce.

Our garden is doing so good it has been growing like crazy!! This was taken the before I left for Utah in November.

!Lake Havasu!

Andrew and I got to go try out this time share at the London Bridge Resort in Lake Havasu. I know it is a little cheesy but I though it would be fun to go over the 12th of Sept. because it was the day one year ago that we got engaged :)!

London decided in 1967 that the London Bridge was too small so they put it on the market, a man by the name Robert McCulloch decided to buy it and move it clear to Arizona! The bridge was numbered, taken apart and then reassembled in Oct 1971 in Lake Havasu. The bridge now is over the Channel canal that leads from Lake Havasu to Thomson Bay. The London Bridge has become Arizona's second-biggest tourist attraction, after the Grand Canyon of course.
Andrew making his tough face sitting on the dock.

We rode across the lake to the Indian reservation and the lake was so pretty at night. We could see the city reflecting onto the lake ~

Nascar

There were parachuters that jumped out of no where and landed right in the middle of the track they did such a good job.

We are wearing our head sets so that we don't go deaf and so we can hear the announcer. We look like such nerds :) lol

This is Jimmy Johnson's car, he is Andrew's favorite racer.

We had to do some sneaking out past the line to get this picture of pit road.

Andrew and I standing in front of Jimmy Johnson's pit stand. One of the guys on the crew gave me a lug nut that went to Jimmy's car so we have a cool free souvenir!!!

Jimmy Johnson's truck that carries his car.

Andrew and I were standing on this bridge over the garage watching the crews make sure the cars were all set for the race. After, we stood there for about 30 min we looked down and we saw this sign... OOPS!!

This our GPS after we left and there was so much traffic it asked us if we wanted to transfer to pedestrian mode.

~The Wildlife Zoo~

Andrew and I at the zoo having so much fun. The Rhino behind us looked so bored~

Andrew and I went to the zoo today it was so fun! There were so many more animals at this zoo then the Hogal Zoo in Utah. They even let us feed some of the animals, there were cute little baby animals too.

There were so many fun things to see there was even babies that were so cute.

The cutest ones were the baby porcupines cute but I would stay away.

The little wart hogs were only 3 days old !

These are the little baby tortoises, you should see their mom!

We got to feed the parrots and it was so fun! Andrew was sure it was going to bite his finger but then it just wanted the apple. One pooed and it missed my foot by a quarter of an inch.Andrew and I were laughing so hard at this bird because it reminded me of Elvis Presley lol! Look how his feathers are slicked back on his head.
