Our Garden

I am so excited we planted our garden this weekend!! You really take for granted all the food storage and bottling your mom does until you live so far away from home that you can't just run and 'borrow' hers :) I miss having bottled to tomatoes to cook with and having fresh cucumbers and vinegar! I love living in Arizona for that reason, we just planted our garden and it is just the middle of September! We planted 21 Tomato plants, 4 Jalapeno plants, 6 Yellow bell pepper plants, 6 Anaheim pepper plants, Cilantro, 12 Cucumber seeds, 1 Spaghetti squash, and Lettuce.

Our garden is doing so good it has been growing like crazy!! This was taken the before I left for Utah in November.

!Lake Havasu!

Andrew and I got to go try out this time share at the London Bridge Resort in Lake Havasu. I know it is a little cheesy but I though it would be fun to go over the 12th of Sept. because it was the day one year ago that we got engaged :)!

London decided in 1967 that the London Bridge was too small so they put it on the market, a man by the name Robert McCulloch decided to buy it and move it clear to Arizona! The bridge was numbered, taken apart and then reassembled in Oct 1971 in Lake Havasu. The bridge now is over the Channel canal that leads from Lake Havasu to Thomson Bay. The London Bridge has become Arizona's second-biggest tourist attraction, after the Grand Canyon of course.

We rode across the lake to the Indian reservation and the lake was so pretty at night. We could see the city reflecting onto the lake ~
